Bird Brand Ecosote® is an environmentally friendly wood preserver and surface biocide for exterior timbers. Containing the active ingredient Didecyldimethyl Ammonium Chloride; it preserves and protects timber from fungal attack, green algae growth and decay. Although it is water based, it penetrates timber just like a solvent based wood preservative due it’s unique formulation. It can be used on sheds, fences and timber products where a creosote like finish and more importantly a preservative is required.
